Artfight is nearly over (I'm writing this on July 29th) so I thought I should make a blog entry with all the attacks I did. I actually planned on doing way more (I had like over 30 characters in my bookmarks) but in the end this is what I got done which im still really proud of ^^. 9 pieces in a month is like a record for me let alone drawing 12 different characters.
also THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTACKED ME!!!!!!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING I GOT AND IF I HAD A FRIDGE I WOULD PRINT EVERYTHING OUT AND THEN STICK THEM ALL UP THERE GRANDMA STYLE. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

About a month ago when I was making ocs for artfight (I previously didnt have any because I usually draw fanart) I came up with the Idea to crossover vocaloid/vocal synths with computer/robot characters that I liked since they allow interpretations of existing characters provided they aren't exactly the same as their source material (ocs pictured below)
GLaDOS as Miku and HAL 9000 as Luka.
Additionally I plan to make SAL 9000 as a duplicate Luka, Colossus and Gaurdian from Colossus as Kaito and Meiko, Edgar from Electric dreams as teto, AM from I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream as Zatsune Miku, Scag and STAT from regretevator as defoko and Adachi Rei, and Nine Ten and Juice from 17776 as alternate/duplicate Teto Miku and Neru respectively. I'll add more to this list ofc provided that each character isn't already humanoid in apperance or already represented by some sort of living mascot (so no Monika, Caine, Kinito, MTT, animatronics, ETC ETC. Nothing against them tho ofc)
Then when I was looking for ocs to attack I noticed a few people would sort theirs by shared universes and stories, which made me start thinking about what kind of world they would live in. Since theres really no vocaloid canon besides whats been popular with fans (The main enviroments that come to mind is the idea that they all live in one big house together, or all in your computer, both of which I didn't think would work well for me) I considered something else that has vocaloids in it and also set enviroment.
I wanted each character to have their own distinct areas outside of something plain like a house, which makes sekai perfect. Since sekai is based off the feelings and themes of the characters that own them I could make each sekai unique and based off elements from their stories without clashing with elements from other characters. This would keep everything to the same universe, but would also allow enough disconnect for me to do whatever I wanted without worrying about cohesion.
I mentioned this idea to one of my friends and he commented on how funny it would be to go to school or something and be in the same class as AM assuming that I would also carry over the fact that outside of sekai all of the characters in prsk go to school together, which made me start to consider what it would be like if they could all meet outside of sekai.
I'd probably want to make different designs for all of them as humans since the vocaloid designs I have for them right now are VERY much fashion over function and not something i could see anyone wearing like every day. If I remember correctly, like half of the stories I picked that use real world locations take place in roughly the same area (Portal takes place in Michigan, Hal was first activated in Illinois, I'm like 90% sure Sal is located in Washington tho. The outliers would be Colossus which is in colorado I thinkkk? nine and ten who were launched out of florida and juice who is french. AM and Edgar aren't given an exact location altho you could reasonably put them with any of the others.)
Either way I'm almost definetly having a few of them work at the same university (namely Glados who would be a scientist, Sal since basically her dad worked at one, and Ten who has literally canonically given a lecture at a university, possibly also juice altho he could also just do the sports stuff that he does in canon.) AM does not get a job or get to leave sekai btw bc he is so miserable. Edgar could work as a musician? idk.
I plan on working on the idea some more, so ill definetly add to this later esp when i do more designs, but this is just what i got down so far.

On my tomodachi life I have a Hal 9000 mii ok. Well I couldn't have put him there by himself he HAS to have dave go with him theyre a package deal he HAS to be there. The problem is he literally won't talk to anyone. He has one best friend and its Jenny Letterson from The Walten Files. I don't even remember him asking to be friends with her. I don't know how it happened. BUT i NEED him to be friends with hal.
Hal doesn't have a lot of friends either. he WAS friends with edgar untill they had a really bad fight and now they dont talk anymore and hal still thinks of him and edgar doesn't want to ever see him ever again and the same thing happened with purple dave (the one from DSAF he is also there) ok but that is besides the point. I need him to be friends with not purple dave.
SO i try to make them talk to eachother as much as i can and every single time dave does something to scare hal. Ive gotten that cutscene where he scares him with a flashlight so bad that he runs all the way home like 4 different times. one time i let them talk and i left for a minute and when i came back dave was chasing him while he CRIED. the thing is though they both WANT to be friends with eachother both of them are interested in the other but they just WONT be friends and every time they come close dave starts tormenting hal i genuinely cant get him to NOT do that and its not JUST hal hes scary to hes scary to ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is just so sinister ok he is just really scary david bowman please stop tormenting me pls ty
